Job summary

Quest, Inc. seeks a maintenance/grounds worker to keep outdoor areas safe, clean, and attractive. Responsibilities include weekly water checks, general upkeep, painting, light bulb replacement, and minor repairs, with daily inspections and grounds care.

A high school diploma and Florida driver's license are required, with preference for 1 year of lawn/maintenance experience. The role involves operating housekeeping and lawn equipment and may require weather-related duties to ensure resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of lawncare and/or maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid FL Driver’s License in good standing at all times.
• Experience with housekeeping equipment and lawn equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document weekly water temperature checks.
• Maintain outdoor areas including sidewalks, gazebos, and parking areas.
• Patch and paint inside and outside of the facility.
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor maintenance repairs.
• Complete Maintenance Work Orders as assigned.
• Walk facility inside and out daily to inspect for repairs.
• Perform grounds maintenance such as trimming bushes and planting.
• Report to work during inclement weather to care for individuals.

General Purpose of Job

Responsible for making sure that outdoor areas are safe, clean, and attractive. General maintenance and janitorial services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Conduct and document weekly water temperature checks.
• Conduct all other monthly and annual environmental checks as directed.
• Ensures general cleaning of outside areas including but not limited to sidewalks, screened areas, gazebos, carports, parking lot, and all other areas of the facility.
• Patch and paint inside and outside of the facility.
• Replace light bulbs
• Complete minor maintenance repairs to include painting, patching, minor electrical, minor plumbing etc.
• Complete Maintenance Work Orders as assigned through Maintainx
• Walk facility inside and out daily to inspect for repairs.
• Completes grounds work as directed such as trimming back bushes, weeding, assisting with planting, and ensuring the facility looks manicured.
• Report to work during inclement weather to ensure adequate supervision and care of all individuals in the home. This may include sheltering in place during a hurricane.
• Management reserves the right to revise the job or to request that other or different tasks be performed as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of lawncare and/or maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid FL Driver’s License in good standing at all times.
• Previous working knowledge utilizing general housekeeping equipment, maintenance tools, lawn equipment, pressure washer.
