Henderson Scott US is seeking a Senior Estimator (Ground-up Residential Construction) to lead preconstruction efforts, develop budgets, bids, and proposals, and guide teams through cost analysis and pricing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, client relations, and business development to ensure profitable projects and accurate takeoffs, with a focus on leadership and strategic estimates.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience and project management/supervision experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems and trade practices.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads overall preconstruction process including bids, proposals, estimates and budgets.
• Prepares and executes win strategies with for interviews and presentations.
• Oversees project teams to ensure successful preconstruction execution.
• Manages relationships with clients and design teams during preconstruction.
• Performs estimating tasks including self-perform estimating as needed.
• Creates conceptual budgets and reviews project risk with operations.
• Ensures alignment of business plan with stakeholders and profitability.
• Develops and manages win strategies leveraging leads and relationships.
• Reviews takeoffs and internal pricing for final accuracy.
• Represents the organization in preconstruction networking and industry relations.
