Job summary

The Boeing Company in the United States seeks an Experienced / Senior Ground Loads Engineer to support Air Dominance programs. The role focuses on ground loads criteria, MB E integration, and flight/ground testing within the L&D team based in St. Louis, MO.

Position requires collaboration across airframe and subsystem teams and delivering validated models and analyses. Applicants should have a BS in engineering or related field, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain US government

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in developing air vehicle design criteria for ground loads.
• Collaborate with airframe and subsystems design and analysis engineers to generate integrated aerodynamic, structural, and landing gear models for flight vehicle analysis in an MBE environment.
• Perform ground loads analyses to support air vehicle design and stores integration.
• Define allowable flight envelopes and operational limits.
• Develop flight and ground test plans.
• Create finite element and multi-body dynamics models and correlate to test results.
• Execute ground and flight test programs and document results for design verification.
• Review and approve airframe and subsystems hardware packages for airworthiness.
