Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Berkeley, Missouri is seeking an Associate Loads and Dynamics Engineer to support fixed-wing aircraft programs. You will develop air vehicle models, perform loads and dynamics analyses, and assist in flight and ground testing while coordinating with internal teams and customers to ensure airworthiness and design integrity.

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering or related field with relevant coursework.
2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Course work in Aerodynamics, Stability & Control, Structural Dynamics, Aeroelasticity, or FEM.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing air vehicle requirements.
Create vehicle-level models for loads and dynamics analysis.
Perform loads and dynamics analysis to support air vehicle design (flight and ground simulations, flutter/divergence, noise and vibration).
Assist in developing flight and ground test requirements and plans.
Support ground and flight testing with pre-test analysis, real-time monitoring, post-processing, and documentation.
Support airworthiness activities with regulatory agencies and customers via correspondence and presentations.
Assist in developing vehicle flight envelope and operational limits.
