Job summary

The Boeing Company in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking an Experienced / Senior Ground Loads Engineer to support Air Dominance programs.

This role leads in developing air vehicle design criteria for ground loads and collaborates with airframe & subsystems design and analysis engineers to build integrated aerodynamic, structural, and landing gear models for flight vehicle analysis within a Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (interim or final) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in developing air vehicle design criteria for ground loads.
• Collaborate with airframe and subsystems engineers to generate integrated models for MB Engineering analyses.
• Perform ground loads analyses to support air vehicle design and stores integration.
• Define allowable flight envelopes and operational limits.
• Develop flight and ground test plans.
• Create FE and multi-body dynamics models and correlate to test results.
• Present engineering results to management and customers during program reviews.
