Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, Missouri is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design Analysis Engineer to join the BGS Engineering team on the Air Dominance Proprietary 2 program. This role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, and validating ground support equipment and related hardware for military systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with focus areas (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials).
• Active U.S. Security Clearance.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ground support equipment for military programs.
• Create fixtures, test adapters, maintenance stands, lifting devices, and transport equipment.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, manufacturing, test, logistics and maintainability teams.
• Ensure equipment meets safety, reliability, and operability needs.
• Develop drawings, models, specifications, and interface definitions.
• Support integration of equipment into production, test, and field environments.
• Conduct trade studies on concepts, materials, cost, schedule and performance.
• Verify designs through analysis, testing and reviews.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Assist in design reviews and program milestone events.
• Assess changes and impact on platform sustainment.
