Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Ground Control Segment Senior Staff Systems Engineer to lead architecture definition, design, integration and verification for the Mux TACAIR ground control segment.

You will collaborate across disciplines, coordinate with customers and suppliers, apply Agile practices (JIRA), and ensure readiness for flight test while maintaining engineering documentation.

A strong background in ground system architectures and security requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in STEM with senior systems engineering experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams and delivering ground segment designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground control segment architecture definition and trade studies.
• Own rack level hardware design, including BOMs and schematics.
• Oversee integration, verification, and flight test activities.
• Interface with customers and suppliers, manage backlogs and SOWs.
