Job summary

Vanta seeks a seasoned GRC Advisory Leader to steer Fortune 500 engagements across SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NIST. You will guide complex, multi-unit compliance programs and translate regulatory requirements into actionable roadmaps for enterprise security teams.

You will mentor Strategic CSMs with the depth to advise on enterprise compliance programs, inspire data-driven decisions, and collaborate with Product, Sales, and Solutions to shape upmarket strategies.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of GRC experience across SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST.
• Auditing background (Big 4, compliance firms, or in-house audit leadership).
• Experience advising Fortune 500 organizations on multi-framework implementations.
• Credible technical depth to engage CISOs, Chief Compliance Officers, and audit committees.
• Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives on compliance strategy and risk management.
• Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and coaching technical teams to operate as subject matter experts.
• Ability to build team culture around compliance excellence, customer obsession, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Apply deep GRC & compliance expertise across client engagements.
• Serve as the primary compliance SME for Fortune 500 projects, advising on SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST and other frameworks.
• Guide complex, multi-business-unit GRC implementations within strict regulatory and financial boundaries.
• Diagnose compliance program gaps and translate requirements into actionable roadmaps.
• Provide expert guidance on audit preparation, control implementation, and program maturation.
• Lead and develop a High-Performing GRC Advisory Team.
