Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Senior Security Consultant - GRC to join our growing cybersecurity advisory practice.

This client-facing role requires hands-on delivery, leadership of engagements, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical outcomes. You will help develop governance models, deliver high-quality consulting, and mentor other consultants while staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance required.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit in a client-facing professional services environment highly preferred.
• Experience working for a cybersecurity services provider, consulting firm, advisory practice, or professional services organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to clients on GRC, cybersecurity governance, and program maturity.
• Lead and deliver client-facing engagements independently with high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct governance, risk, compliance, and control assessments aligned to frameworks and regulations.
• Develop governance models, security frameworks, and policies.
• Support internal audit readiness, compliance reporting, and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify client needs and solutions.
• Mentor other consultants and contribute to practice growth.
