Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a senior IT GRC Consultant to establish and mature its IT governance framework, policies, standards, controls, and supporting documentation within a regulated banking environment.

The role requires hands-on development, alignment with FFIEC and NIST guidance, and collaboration with IT, Security, Risk, Audit, and business stakeholders. This is a remote contract position based out of Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Governance, Risk, and Compliance within a bank or financial institution.
• Experience supporting regulated banking environments.
• Hands-on authoring of policies, standards, procedures, and control documentation.
• Ability to translate technical content into governance documentation.
• Excellent executive-level communication.
• OCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish baseline IT governance framework and document structure.
• Draft and maintain IT, cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and control narratives.
• Define control objectives and document key controls; create governance structure.
• Engage with CIO, Information Security, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and infrastructure/application teams.
• Map documentation to regulatory expectations and support remediation and audit requests.
• Produce governance documentation and audit evidence artifacts.
