Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced Risk and Compliance (GRC) consultant to deliver advisory services within the Financial Services practice. You will lead projects, manage client delivery, and collaborate across teams to apply GRC processes and technology to build sustainable risk programs.

The role requires 6+ years' experience in banking risk and compliance, strong communication, and willingness to travel 60%+ annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in MIS, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 6+ years of experience managing implementation of complex risk and compliance systems in banking
• Experience implementing regulatory compliance, third-party risk management, or enterprise risk management processes
• Expertise with commercially available GRC solutions
• Experience leading and managing teams and project budgets
• Expert project management skills, including planning, status reporting, issue resolution, and risk mitigation
• Strong communication with senior and executive management
• Ability to deliver business requirements documents, design documents, test cases, and end-user training guides
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to support sales cycles through subject matter expertise, proposals, estimates, and staffing plans
• MS Office proficiency, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Team-oriented with experience working with diverse teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Provide Risk and Compliance (GRC) consulting services within the Financial Services practice
• Deliver solution development and lead projects
• Support business development and sales cycles with subject matter expertise
• Manage client service delivery and teams of professionals
• Manage project budgets and project execution
• Apply GRC processes, technology, and industry best practices to help clients build sustainable risk management programs
• Lead teams, deepen client relationships, contribute to account planning, identify opportunities, and ensure high-quality delivery
• Develop business requirements, design documents, test cases, and end-user training guides
• Collaborate across teams and use technology, including emerging AI capabilities, to improve efficiency, insights, and client outcomes
• Perform other duties assigned by the employer
