Job summary

ITA Group in the Des Moines area is seeking a local Senior Graphic Designer to create, design and produce quality print and electronic communications for complex projects with internal and external clients in the Engagement Communications department.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of graphic design experience, a graphic design degree, strong conceptual and production skills on Mac using Creative Suite, and the ability to mentor teammates while adapting to emerging technologies including

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design.
Minimum five years’ experience as a Graphic Designer in an advertising agency or similar environment.
Strong creative abilities and the ability to develop innovative ideas and concepts.
Mac experience required; software: Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Demonstrates curiosity toward emerging technologies, including AI, and leveraging AI tools for concepting.
Ability to explain design rationale to clients and internal teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Ability to mentor other team members and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Create, design and produce print and electronic communications for complex projects.
Collaborate with internal and external clients in the Engagement Communications department.
Review design work and present rationale to clients and stakeholders.
Mentor junior designers and oversee project workflows.
Stay current with design trends and emerging technologies, including AI.
