Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Health System Shared Services | Communications and Marketing seeks a Senior Graphic Designer to conceptualize, design, and execute high-quality visual assets that align with the medical center’s brand strategy. You will manage multiple projects from inception through completion on a Macintosh platform, providing advanced interactive and graphic design support.

The role requires a strong creative vision, leadership in design thinking, and expert knowledge of design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong portfolio with branding, advertising, digital campaigns, and video production.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud apps: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; familiarity with AI tools.
• Experience with photography, digital asset production, PowerPoint templates, and print production.
• Knowledge of interactive design, CMS, animation, and digital media.
• Understanding accessibility standards (WCAG) and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and execute visual assets aligning with brand strategy.
• Lead multiple projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with photographers for shoots and art direction.
• Direct and lead organization-wide visual design initiatives.
