Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE in Kansas seeks a Senior Graphic Designer to create on-brand experiences across digital, print and multi-channel campaigns within a healthcare setting. You will translate strategy into visuals, coordinate with external partners, and ensure alignment with brand standards and clinical communications.

You will lead design discussions, present concepts to clients, and drive execution across media while maintaining a strong focus on quality, timelines and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • High School Graduate.
  • 5 or more years of marketing experience.
  • Healthcare experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-brand design solutions aligned with strategy and outcomes.
  • Coordinate end-to-end design for graphics, imagery, and execution.
  • Develop and present design ideas to internal and external clients.
  • Lead creative meetings and present concepts/campaigns.
  • Execute graphic design across digital, traditional and non-traditional media.

  • Pursue ongoing professional development to hone skills.

Senior Graphic Designer

Position Summary

The Senior Graphic Design position will utilize strategy, knowledge and skill across multiple channels, including digital, traditional and non‑traditional media, to develop on‑brand experiences for our target audiences. Senior graphic designers will leverage the brand approach to generate ideas, communicate messages and drive action to reach health system goals. This position will also facilitate and coordinate the work produced by our external partners to ensure alignment with brand standards and campaign or project communication goals.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
  • Providing on‑brand design solutions that align with strategic approach and drive desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end design solutions for all projects, including graphics, photography/imagery, final execution.
  • Developing and presenting design ideas to internal and external clients.
  • Able to lead creative meetings and present concepts/campaigns.
  • Able to execute graphic design across all media types (digital, traditional and non‑traditional).
  • Facilitate and coordinate campaigns and projects through outside partners.
  • Continuously hone skillset through on‑going professional development.
  • Support the maintenance and extension of the health system brand standards, brand resources (graphics, photos) and branded assets (templates).
  • Able to multi‑task and re‑prioritize based on health system needs.
  • Able to give and receive constructive feedback as well as apply feedback provided; provide design counsel and creative direction to areas assigned.
  • Demonstrate competencies in critical thinking, communication, interpersonal relationships and technical skills. Must perform professional, clinical or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • High School Graduate.
  • 5 or more years of marketing experience.
