Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Administration, or related field.
• Five+ years of grant writing and proposal development experience.
• Experience with federal grant guidelines and securing federal grants.
• Budget development and financial reporting experience.
• Ability to work with diverse campus stakeholders.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee research to identify funding opportunities that align with university priorities.
• Supervise and assist with development of grant proposals and narratives.
• Coordinate proposal development meetings and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and submission deadlines.
• Submit grants as Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR).
• Mentor the Grant Specialist and coordinate with Finance, Purchasing and Foundation as applicable.
• Facilitate collaborations across departments to strengthen proposals.
• Support post-award transitions and reporting.
