Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating proposal teams, onboarding project managers, and reporting on milestones, burn rate, and risk status to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with grant writing and university funding processes is desirable.
• PMP certification or equivalent is useful but not required.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit large, strategic funding proposals to federal and state agencies.
• Ensure proposals are complete and compliant with sponsor requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks; design structures to support initiatives and sustainability planning.
• Coordinate with Office Technology Transfer, Commercialization, and Strategic Engagement for proposal success.
• Report progress, milestones, burn rate, and risk status to executive leadership.
