Job summary

ECMC Foundation in Minneapolis is hiring a Senior Associate, Grants Management Data & Systems to serve as the organization’s SME for grants management systems, data governance, and reporting. You will partner with Grants Management leadership, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to design and implement technology, data solutions, and processes that support grantmaking strategy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in finance, data analytics, BI, information systems, or related field.
• Experience administering grants management systems, CRM platforms, or similar enterprise applications.
• Advanced reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, SQL, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, quality management, databases, and reconciliation practices.
• Understanding of grants management processes, lifecycle, payments, controls, and compliance.
• Experience translating business requirements into system configurations and workflows.
• Strong documentation, procedures, and training material development.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 15% and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Foundation's primary administrator for grants management systems and related workflows.
• Lead data governance, quality management, reconciliation, and audit-ready data processes.
• Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards, analytics, and KPIs for strategic decisions and reporting.
• Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user adoption.
• Oversee QA and validation of grant processing, reporting, and data inquiries.
• Design and test data structures and automated workflows; coordinate UAT and rollout.
