Job summary

ECMC Foundation in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Grants Management Associate to support the Foundation’s grantmaking operations and Fluxx-based processes. You will help ensure accurate data, compliant workflows, and smooth grant lifecycle management.

The role reports to the Manager of Grants Administration and requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to train staff on grants policies and systems in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of grants management system experience.
• Experience administering and maintaining complex data systems for grants management.
• Experience implementing process improvements and workflow enhancements.
• Knowledge of grants management processes, data quality, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on LOIs and grant applications.
• Administer grant activities across the grant lifecycle including agreements and payments.
• Maintain the grants management system (Fluxx) ensuring data integrity.
• Oversee day-to-day grants management operations and cross‑department collaboration.
• Provide guidance on grant processes and system navigation to staff and grantees.
• Deliver onboarding and training on grants policies and Fluxx workflows.
• Generate and maintain grant records, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with materials for leadership and board meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and data quality.
