Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Senior Contracts and Grants Specialist at the Pickle Research Campus, within the Charles A Dana Center. This role manages proposals, agreements, and contracts through OSP and VPCFO, and oversees payment vouchers, POs, invoices, and deposits in DEFINE and related systems.

The successful candidate will liaise with sponsors, PIs, vendors, and university offices, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines, deadlines, and UT accounting policies while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and five+ years of grant/contract proposal experience.
• Experience with federal, state, foundation funding and sponsor guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit proposals, agreements, and contracts through OSP and VPCFO.
• Manage payment vouchers, purchase orders, invoices, and deposits in DEFINE.
• Serve as primary sponsor and PI liaison and coordinate with UT offices.
• Audit and ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and UT accounting policies.
• Support the Finance Team with policies and records management.
