Job summary

UCLA’s Deans Department in the School of Education and Information Studies seeks a Lead Senior Fund Manager to oversee contract and grant finance. The role involves advanced financial analysis, grant administration, and full pre/post-award management for multiple projects with a combined annual budget of $8–$10 million.

You will prepare detailed financial reports for directors, faculty, and units. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will ensure compliance with Federal regulations and UC

Qualifications

• 3-5 years financial administration, accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of policies and procedures in a large institution of higher education.
• Advanced knowledge of contract and grant administration and proposal processes.
• Experience creating financial reports for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced financial analysis and monitoring of grant funding.
• Oversee pre-award and post-award administration for contracts and grants.
• Develop and disseminate monthly financial reports for project directors and faculty.
• Ensure compliance with Federal regulations, University policy, and School guidelines.
• Manage budgets for assigned faculty and research units within extramural funding rules.
