Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Senior Grant and Fund Manager to oversee complex extramural funding portfolios within the Department of Radiological Sciences. You will ensure compliant management of all contract and grant activities and partner with investigators to advance research priorities.

Responsibilities include leading grant proposal preparation, post-award administration, budget development and financial projections, and ensuring adherence to UC, federal, and sponsor

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of contract and grant administration knowledge and proposals systems.
• 4-5 years of financial analysis, budgeting and administration for complex funding sources.
• Knowledge of cost accounting standards, NIH policies, and 45CFR46 human subjects protections.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with grant-related tasks.
• Experience interpreting funding agency requirements and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides pre‑ and post‑award support to Principal Investigators for extramurally funded projects.
• Leads preparation, review, and submission of grant proposals per UC and sponsor policies.
• Oversees award administration, including budget development, financial monitoring, projections, and reconciliation.
• Ensures compliance with UC, federal, state, and sponsor regulations, policies, and reporting requirements.
• Serves as a primary resource to faculty and staff on grant administration, funding strategy, and policy interpretation.
• Maintains high‑quality service, accuracy, and timeliness across all contract and grant activities.
