Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or related field with grant/contract experience.
Strong budgeting and accounting experience in sponsored projects.
Experience in proposal preparation for federal and other funding.
Experience with university information systems (e.g. Banner) and data tools.
Supervisory experience.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Coordinate pre- and post-award processes for complex sponsored projects to ensure policy compliance.
Assist faculty in identifying funding opportunities and preparing proposals.
Review awarded grants and contracts for fiscal content and monitor expenditures.
Serve as liaison between principal investigators and SPA to resolve issues.
Provide management over research funding and prepare financial reports.
Develop databases and perform financial analyses using university systems.
Supervise clerical and accounting staff.
