Job summary

The City and County of San Francisco seeks a Supervising Grants Administration Manager to lead the full lifecycle of multimillion-dollar grant portfolios, ensuring fiscal integrity, compliance, and impact. Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of professional analytical work in budgets, contracts, grants, policy, or related areas.
• Graduate degree may substitute for one year of experience; up to two years substituted.
• Desirable qualifications include leading complex grant portfolios and strong compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee the administration of all grant funding, including development of opportunities and award recommendations.
• Manage a portfolio of complex, equity-focused grant programs with multi-year and multi-source funding.
• Ensure grants align with fiscal controls and applicable city, state, and federal requirements.
• Develop, implement, and refine grantmaking protocols, including RFPs, TA strategies, evaluation frameworks, and contracts.
• Provide senior-level oversight of grantee onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
• Design, implement, and oversee monitoring systems for fiscal compliance, performance, and outcomes.
