Job summary

MJH Grants is a growing nonprofit consulting firm seeking a Grant Services Manager to lead the grant writing and prospect research practice. You will supervise staff, nurture client relationships, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across multiple engagements.

The ideal candidate holds a Grant Professional Certified designation (GPCI) with years of editing and grant writing experience. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, communications, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in editing, staff supervision and coaching, grant development, or institutional fundraising for the nonprofit sector.
• Demonstrated success developing competitive foundation, corporate, and government grant proposals.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading grant writing or fundraising professionals.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit organizations, institutional fundraising, and grant development practices.
• Experience managing multiple projects, competing deadlines, and complex deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, provide constructive feedback, and resolve problems effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with grant research databases and project management systems.
• GPC, PMP, or CFRE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of grant writing and prospect research services.
• Supervise grant writing staff and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of all client deliverables.
• Serve as MJH Grants' senior representative across client engagements.
• Collaborate with Grant Writers to develop effective funding strategies.
• Provide leadership, strategic guidance, and quality assurance across the client portfolio.
