Job summary

OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City seeks a Lead Contract/Grant Coordinator to manage complex grant proposals from concept through submission. You will advise faculty, coordinate budgets, and ensure compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements, working closely with ORA and the Proposal Services Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 60 months experience in grant proposal submission and/or research administration.
• Experience coordinating complex grant proposals from concept to submission.
• Familiarity with NIH guidelines and other funding agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-award research administration for sponsored activities.
• Coordinate development and submission of grant proposals, renewals, revisions and transfers.
• Analyze funding opportunities and identify deadlines and compliance needs.
• Develop proposal timelines and milestone plans for timely submission.
• Facilitate proposal planning meetings and coordinate stakeholders.
• Assemble proposal components: budgets, biosketches, letters of support, subrecipient docs.
• Advise faculty on sponsor guidelines, federal regulations, and university policies.
• Prepare budgets aligned with sponsor requirements and institutional guidelines.
• Serve as liaison between investigators and ORA.
• Provide proposal quality assurance and editorial review.
