Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in grant accounting or related role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with contracts and interpreting terms and conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all financial aspects of grant administration, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
• Prepare and submit timely financial reports to grantors, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
• Review grant agreements to ensure financial conditions are met.
• Monitor grant expenses to align with approved budgets.
• Develop budgets for grant proposals with program staff.
• Conduct reconciliations of grant accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain records of all grant transactions and contracts.
• Ensure accurate entry of grant information into the accounting system.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary information.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and best practices in grant management.
