Job summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking a dependable Grading Foreman to supervise grading crews on-site and coordinate with Superintendents and Project Managers. The Foreman ensures safety, quality, and timely completion while managing materials, permits, and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in highway construction, 3+ years as a Grading Foreman, GPS experience, and a valid driver’s license. This full-time, on-site role requires readiness for longer hours and some travel to project sites

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience with highway construction.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Grading Foreman.
• Experience with heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grading operations with Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Oversee grading crew on-site and ensure quality and safety.
• Plan and schedule grading activities daily with the Superintendent.
• Maintain materials, equipment inventory, and safety compliance.
• Prepare daily reports and work/unit/equipment reports.
