Qualifications

Job description

The Grade Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in grading and preparing land for construction projects, such as roads, highways, and other infrastructure. This role oversees equipment operation, ensures quality standards, enforces safety protocols, and liaises with project managers to meet construction specifications and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise grading crews and assign tasks based on project requirements and skill sets.
  • Coordinate the use of equipment including bulldozers, graders, scrapers, and compactors.
  • Inspect project sites and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Monitor progress and productivity, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Support project managers with scheduling, reporting, and resource management.
  • Maintain records of daily site activities and personnel attendance.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure crew adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications
