Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to design and implement automated tests for device driver software and SDKs on Windows and Linux, using Python/C/C++. You will build data-driven tools to accelerate testing workflows and improve code coverage, partnering with multiple teams to identify defects early in the lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in Python/C/C++, experience with AI-based test automation, RESTful APIs, and debugging on Windows and Linux.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of programming in Python/C/C++ with OOP.
• Hands-on Python scripting with dictionaries, tuples, RegEx, and pip concepts.
• Experience using AI development tools for test planning and automation.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and performing performance/load tests.
• Experience with SQL/Elasticsearch and databases.
• Strong OS fundamentals and PC hardware knowledge.
• Experience with debugging tools WinDBG and GDB.
• Knowledge of GPUs and technologies like CUDA, DLSS, Reflex, G-Sync.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests for NVIDIA software on Windows and Linux.
• Develop end-to-end tests for device drivers and SDKs; execute and report defects.
• Build data-driven tools to accelerate testing workflows and improve coverage.
• Create utilities/frameworks in Python/C/C++ to optimize testing processes.
• Provide code reviews focused on performance, scalability, and correctness.
• Estimate and prioritize tasks to meet realistic delivery schedules.
• Verify compatibility across products and interfaces.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to improve test coverage.
