Base-2 Solutions, LLC. seeks a senior HPC/AI systems engineer to design, deploy, and optimize GPU clusters in a secure DoD environment. You will work with Linux platforms, NVIDIA GPUs, and high-speed networking to deliver mission-critical infrastructure for AI workloads.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI poly, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure performance, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with six years of experience; three additional years may substitute for the degree.
• Experience managing NVIDIA GPU data center platforms (DGX, HGX, H200, H100, L4s).
• Knowledge of enterprise server components (storage/network controllers, HBAs, SSDs).
• Strong expertise with Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle, Rocky).
• DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II certification at minimum; Level III acceptable.
• U.S. citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsabilités

• Design, configure, and maintain GPU clusters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize architectures for performance and power.
• Integrate GPUs with Linux-based systems with AI/ML engineers.
• Optimize GPU drivers for compatibility and performance.
• Analyze GPU performance and identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain debugging tools and profiling utilities for Linux.
• Develop tooling with Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, and Salt.
• Maintain technical documentation and Linux best practices.
• Support ATO activities and ensure compliance with federal security standards.
