Samsung Electronics America seeks a Senior Staff Engineer for its GPU modeling and IP effort in San Jose. You will design high-performance C++ models for GPU blocks and work with architects, RTL and software teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date representations of complex hardware systems.

The role requires a Master’s in CS/Engineering (or 10+ years on a Bachelor's path) and deep knowledge of GPU/CPU architecture, Linux tooling, and performance analysis.

• Advanced degree with strong software design and architecture background.
• 8+ years of experience for Master’s path or 10+ years for Bachelor's path in related field.
• Expertise in C++, STL, Linux, GPU/CPU architectures, and hardware modeling.

Mansioni

• Model GPU pipeline components with high performance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, verification and software teams.
• Design and maintain fast, accurate C++ models for GPU blocks.
• Validate models against specifications and update with design changes.
• Identify optimization opportunities across architectural and micro-architecture levels.
• Simulate and analyze model behavior for performance insights.
