Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. A PhD with a focus in computer architecture is a plus.
• 6+ years of meaningful work experience in GPU or CPU Architecture with memory caching and interconnects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to mentor junior engineers and interns.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture and micro-architecture to improve GPU memory system performance, power, area, and schedule.
• Participate in performance simulations to improve memory access efficiency.
• Implement and maintain high-level functional and performance models.
• Analyze benchmarks and workloads to identify microarchitecture optimizations.
• Define experiments and present results to the team, proposing improvements.
• Create architectural specs and collaborate with industry partners on software interfaces to the GPU.
• Debug performance and functional issues with models, RTL, and silicon.
