Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom is seeking a Lead Pricing Specialist to drive pricing strategy, cost modeling, and governance for complex state and local government pursuits across North America. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop compliant cost proposals and pricing approaches that align with procurement requirements.

You will interpret RFPs, build detailed cost models, and lead post-submission activities, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and competitive outcomes across multi-year contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of pricing, proposal development, cost analysis, or financial modeling, with state/local contracts.
• Experience leading pricing for state government RFPs and developing compliant cost proposals.
• Strong understanding of state government procurement processes and pricing structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy for complex state and local government pursuits.
• Develop detailed cost proposals in response to state government RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations.
• Interpret government solicitation documents, pricing schedules, cost proposal requirements, and evaluation methodologies.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop comprehensive cost models for government contracts.
• Review, validate, and consolidate cost information ensuring accuracy, traceability and alignment.
• Prepare executive pricing summaries and management reports to support bids and approvals.
