Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom North America is seeking a Lead Pricing Specialist to drive pricing strategy and cost models for complex public-sector pursuits across North America, with emphasis on state government contracts. You will partner with BD, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and leadership to ensure compliant, competitive pricing throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pricing, proposals, cost analysis, or commercial management with state/local government contracts.
• Experience leading pricing for state government RFPs and compliant cost proposals.
• Strong understanding of state government procurement processes and evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex RFPs into detailed, compliant cost and pricing structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy for state/local government pursuits and pricing scenarios.
• Develop detailed cost proposals in response to state RFPs, RFIs, and solicitations.
• Interpret solicitation documents to identify pricing obligations, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop cost models with SMEs for technology, infrastructure, and service contracts.
• Review and consolidate cost information ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Prepare executive pricing summaries and commercial analyses for decisions.
