Job summary

BigBear.ai, a leading AI-powered decision intelligence company, is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager in the United States to drive government contracting programs from planning through delivery. You will ensure staffing, funding, and operational support align with customer expectations and contract requirements.

The role collaborates with government customers and internal leadership, managing invoicing, procurement, and contract administration while building strong relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years in business/program operations, contracts, or federal government contracting.
• Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and familiarity with federal contracting processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather and manage requirements within project parameters.
• Plan, track, and report on projects, resources, and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and facilitate procurement.
• Assess personnel performance and provide feedback to leadership.
• Maintain schedules and ensure quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with program managers to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Communicate with project teams and stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Forecast budgets and procure software/hardware as needed.
