SES Space & Defense seeks a Senior Specialist, Contracts to manage cradle-to-grave US Government contract requirements and financial deliverables. You will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, review proposals, negotiate terms, and administer government and commercial contracts across multiple programs.

You will build relationships with contract officers, manage risk, and guide the contract team through complex procurements.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and at least 6 years of contracts experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS and related federal regulations.
• Understanding of US Government contracting processes including GSA schedules and competitive procurements.
• Knowledge of contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ) and their proper use.
• Knowledge of source selection/evaluation and cost/price analysis.
• Knowledge of government property administration.
• Experience in drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, POs, teaming and other agreements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal/written communication; ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task.
• NCMA membership desired.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Administers and monitors contract performance on assigned government contracts with direct and indirect customers.
• Maintains relationships with US Government Contract Officers and contract/subcontract managers as primary contacts.
• Assist with negotiation and administration of agreements ensuring policy adherence.
• Review solicitation terms, award confirmations, and interpret terms/conditions; incorporate changes.
• Review contractual documents for compliance with policy and government requirements; identify risks.
• Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions in a timely manner.
• Fulfillment of contract deliverables and timely proposal review/submission.
• Review and analyze price proposals; prepare NDAs, MSAs, SOs and other agreements.
• Prepare contract terms/conditions and assemble documentation; participate in management reviews.
• Be flexible in a fast-paced environment; support the Contracts Department and surge workload periods.
• Contribute to SES SD mission and culture.
