Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Manager Contract Administration – Manager Level 2 to lead a contracts portfolio onsite in Linthicum, MD. The role emphasizes safeguarding contractual terms, driving negotiations, and guiding cross‑functional teams to deliver strong financial performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising contract administrators, ensuring compliance with FAR, and coordinating with program, technical, operations, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience; more experience may substitute for degree.
• Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance required at time of application
• Experience negotiating and administering fixed price and cost reimbursable government contracts (US Government)
• Thorough understanding of government regulations including FAR
• Advanced proposal development and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across all management levels

Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractual documents to protect the company’s posture and ensure contractual requirements are met
• Plan and execute negotiations of complex contracts to achieve favorable terms and profitability
• Interface with program, technical, and operations teams to guide contract requirements
• Make timely decisions and provide guidance across multiple organizations such as legal, finance, and security
• Solve complex problems by seeking information and ideas from diverse sources
• Build strong customer relationships and employee engagement to grow the business area
• Perform other duties as assigned
