Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking an experienced Government Contracts Manager to support the Vice President of Contracts with proposal preparation, data collection, and administration of government contracts.

This on-site role involves ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, overseeing GFP and CAP, and coordinating across departments. After on-site training, a hybrid schedule may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing government and commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with FAR and DFARS.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide staff; support contract lifecycle processes.
• Oversee contract set-up, accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Maintain GFP and CAP records; execute PIEE actions.
• Create/Cognos reports to support analysis and decision-making.
• Portal administration and user onboarding for Contracts Portal.
• Support SB program reporting and stakeholder communications.
