Job summary

RealmOne in Columbia, MD, is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee day-to-day administration of government and commercial contracts, from proposal through closeout. You will work with program teams, leaders, customers, and vendors to explain contract requirements, maintain records, address risks, and ensure compliance across multiple contracts.

The role requires at least five years of DoD government contract experience, strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and the ability to communicate complex terms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, law, management, or related field.
• 5+ years of DoD government contract administration experience.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS; ability to read and apply federal acquisition policies.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate records with minimal guidance.
• Ability to explain contract requirements clearly to non-contract staff.
• Ability to collaborate with program teams, leaders, customers, vendors, and legal/finance partners.
• CPSR preparation, alternative contract arrangements, acquisitions, and proposal support.

Responsibilities

• Administer, negotiate, modify, renew, and close out contracts (DoD, federal, commercial).
• Prepare and manage NDAs, teaming, consulting, joint venture, and subcontracts.
• Review terms, provisions and changes; explain impact to teams and leaders.
• Track contract status, deliverables, funding, modifications, and compliance.
• Manage multiple prime contracts and subcontracts simultaneously.
• Support contract reviews and negotiations during acquisitions and proposals.
• Research contract questions and stay current on laws and contracting practices.
