Job summary

BRG’s Government Contracts practice applies extensive experience to help organizations adapt to and comply with requirements triggered by contract awards. We assist with bid protests, cost and pricing, claims, disputes, and litigation support across multiple industries.

BRG’s Managing Consultants model financial and cost accounting data, perform compliance assessments, develop analyses, and prepare client deliverables. They work in a collaborative team, meet deadlines, and may travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CGMA are valuable.
• 2–4 years of experience in professional or litigation services.
• Proficient with MS Excel and related analytical software.

Responsibilities

• Work with Government contracts clients on cost, pricing, and compliance challenges.
• Develop customized accounting and contractual solutions for clients.
• Interact with clients across aerospace, defense, professional services, and more.
• Research and summarize data from public and client sources; build databases.
• Create and maintain electronic files and use software tools.
• Audit work products to ensure quality.
• Collaborate in a team to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Travel as needed.
