Job summary

CDW is seeking a skilled IT infrastructure engineer to manage, secure, and optimize cloud-focused environments for Government customers. The role spans secure, hybrid, and multi-cloud setups (Azure Gov/GCC High, AWS GovCloud, GCP) with responsibilities across compute, storage, networking, security, and observability.

You will participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, implement compliance controls, and develop automation to improve reliability and efficiency in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years IT infrastructure engineering experience, or 9 total years with 5+ years relevant cloud/infra experience.
• Advanced certifications in two of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud solutions across Azure Government / Azure GCC High; AWS GovCloud; or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support, administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for Government cloud and hybrid infrastructure across Azure Gov., AWS GovCloud, and/or GCP.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, security, and compliance with SLAs.
• Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotation to support critical Government environments.
• Apply Government compliance requirements and security frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks).
• Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve efficiency and consistency.
