Job summary

Saic in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support a National Intelligence program on the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management team. You will advise Government IT teams on multi-cloud architectures and assist in aligning cloud solutions with mission needs.

The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph, along with 5+ years in cloud/hybrid environments and hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, and OCI.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active clearance or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
• 5+ years in cloud/hybrid environments; 4 years can substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Advise on robust, scalable cloud architectures meeting mission requirements.
• Educate Government customers on cloud services to meet needs.
• Maintain multi-cloud architecture and improve cost, performance, and CSP optimization.
• Develop baseline multi-cloud architecture methodology for C2E ecosystem.
• Support data models, dictionaries, maps, and enterprise artifacts.
• Design cloud solutions aligned with policies, standards, and practices.
• Provide innovative architectural solutions for ill-defined requirements.
• Assess impact of scope changes on future architectures.
• Provide cloud-agnostic technical guidance for multi-cloud work statements.
