Job summary

Nike Golf is seeking a Senior Designer to shape the future of Nike Golf Footwear through craft-focused design and problem-solving. The role collaborates with engineering, product management, marketing, and merchandising to deliver innovative footwear that meets performance and aesthetic goals.

Expect to work under the Golf Senior Creative Director, presenting concepts to diverse audiences and driving feasibility within price and timeline constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in product design or related field.
• 5-7 years' experience designing and developing innovative footwear products.
• Previous footwear design experience required.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to work by sketching, cobbling, and with 3D tools to bring ideas to life.
• A future thinker with curiosity to seek and solve problems, serving Golf athletes.
• Engagement with athletes and external partners.
• Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of Nike Golf Footwear by crafting new standards of fit, form, and construction at the intersection of performance, innovation, and style.
• Build innovative, athlete insight-informed footwear designs that advance product performance and aesthetic for the Golf consumer.
• Actively seek authoritative recommendations to develop designs with regard to testing, manufacturability, sustainability, and aesthetic finish.
• Partner with category team members in design, development, and product management to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price point, merchandising needs, and product creation timelines.
• Work under the direction of the Golf Senior Creative Director and present design concepts to various audiences.
• Collaborate with a project team of different professionals including engineering, product management, marketing, merchandising, testing, product development, and costing.
• Collaborate within the design community including industrial designers, materials, colour, graphics, and 3D.
