Job summary

Tri-Mountain Golf Course in Ridgefield, WA is seeking a full-time Superintendent to oversee maintenance of the 18-hole course and manage a budget of $2.5–$3 million in revenue. You will ensure turfgrass is maintained to standards and lead a team of maintenance and seasonal staff.

The role requires an AA or equivalent (or 3–4 years related experience) with pesticide license and valid driver’s license. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent, or 3–4 years of related experience.
• Degree preference in agronomy, horticulture, or plant and soil science.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains the annual maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Directs maintenance and construction of putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Supervises planting and cultural practices for turfgrasses, trees, and ornamentals.
• Ensures maintenance equipment is properly maintained.
• Procures supplies and materials within budget.
• Keeps records of maintenance activities and costs; prepares reports.
• Implements purchasing procedures with preferred vendors.
• Reconciles invoices, payroll, and other documents.
• Coordinates snow removal as needed.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Ensures training/licensing for associates; addresses environmental concerns.
• Proper mixing, calibration, and application of chemicals and fertilizers.
• Manages department staff including several roles.
• Provides orientation and training; develops ongoing programs.
• Maintains regular attendance; follows safe work practices.
