Job summary

Birmingham Country Club is seeking an experienced Equipment Manager for its Greens & Grounds Department to oversee the maintenance, repair, and overall management of the club's equipment fleet. The role reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and supports safe, efficient operations and optimal playing conditions.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in equipment management, formal diesel/turf tech training, and CTEM/EMCP certifications preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining golf course turf equipment, heavy machinery, and fleet vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Formal technical training in diesel or turf equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and manage Birmingham Country Club's equipment fleet.
Ensure high uptime of turf equipment, vehicles and related assets.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with Golf Course Superintendent to support playing conditions and safety.
