Job summary

Jackson Hole Jewelry Co. is seeking a highly skilled Goldsmith/Master Jeweler with 7+ years of bench experience to join our team in Jackson, Wyoming. The ideal candidate excels at traditional bench work and modern technology, and can confidently represent the house to clients.

You will work independently, manage your workload, and maintain meticulous records while meeting client expectations for repairs, alterations, and custom pieces. Weekend availability is required during the season.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of bench experience required.
• Proficient in torch and laser welding.
• Expertise in ring sizing, chain repair, fabrication, and fine jewelry restoration.

Responsibilities

• Execute sizing, restoration, prong re-tipping, bezel/shank work and head replacement to a high standard.
• Set stones by prong, bezel, channel, pavé and micro-pavé on heirlooms and house inventory.
• Undertake hand fabrication, casting, polishing and finishing with traditional and modern equipment, including laser welding.
• Meet with clients to discuss repairs, alterations and custom work, and prepare estimates and timelines.
• Manage workload and track jobs; honor all promised completion dates.
• Maintain precise documentation and secure handling of client property from intake to completion.
