Job summary

Jackson Hole Jewelry Co. in Jackson, Wyoming seeks an experienced Goldsmith with 7+ years of bench experience and strong independent work ethic.

You will handle traditional bench tasks and modern laser welding, while engaging with clients and providing clear estimates and timelines. This hands-on role requires comfort with high craftsmanship standards, ability to manage multiple repairs, and collaboration across the house to ensure exceptional results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of bench experience with hands-on repair and fabrication.
• Proficient in torch and laser welding for fine jewelry.
• Skilled in sizing, chain repair, fabrication and restoration.
• Strong attention to detail and client-facing communication.
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable discussing repairs, alterations and custom work with clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute sizing, chain and clasp restoration, prong re-tipping and head replacement.
• Set stones across prong, bezel, channel and pavé styles for heirlooms and inventory.
• Hand fabrication, casting, polishing and finishing using traditional and modern methods.
• Meet with clients to discuss repairs and custom work, and prepare estimates and timelines.
• Manage workload, track jobs and honor completion dates.
• Maintain precise documentation and secure handling of client property.
