Job summary

ImagineX LLC is seeking a Senior GoLang Developer to lead backend services and contribute to React front-end applications. You will architect core platform components, optimize performance, and collaborate with product, DevOps, and engineering leadership.

This role is Monday–Friday, fully onsite at our client's office in Atlanta (Midtown). Candidates must be able to commute daily and bring deep Go expertise, experience with microservices, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Go development.
• 2+ years React.js experience with hooks, state management, and component-driven architecture.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems at scale.
• Proficiency with REST, gRPC, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, and message queues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable Go code.
• Onsite work Monday–Friday at client’s office in Midtown Atlanta.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go.
• Build and maintain responsive React.js components and front-end features that integrate with Go APIs.
• Architect distributed systems and microservices for scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Design APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) for internal and front-end use.
• Optimize performance across APIs, pipelines, and service-to-service communication.
• Implement code quality, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployment best practices.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for backend and frontend parts.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Gather requirements onsite with client stakeholders and translate into technical designs.
• Lead technical decisions on system design, data modeling, and infrastructure.
• Ensure security best practices: authentication, authorization, input validation.
• Mentor junior/mid engineers with code reviews and architecture guidance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies.
• Create technical docs, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
• Evaluate AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
