Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 9+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on production Go development.
• Strong Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies experience.
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with GCP and/or other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain infrastructure and automation to deliver critical production database services across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Build solutions for database provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and self-service enablement at scale.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) to automate service delivery across hybrid environments.
• Respond to and resolve incidents across all critical production database platforms in both environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and implement observability improvements to prevent issues.
• Own one or more critical production database service areas to ensure reliability and availability.
