Job summary

Docker is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own secure build infrastructure. You will design and operate Go services powering Docker Build Cloud and Auto Builds, improving reliability and security for trusted workflows used by developers and software agents.

You will partner with Product, Security and DX teams to ship features end-to-end, while maintaining a strong product mindset and scalable operations in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with leadership on production systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong backend and distributed systems experience in production.
• Go language proficiency and ability to ship reliable services.
• Experience with containers, build/CI systems and cloud infra.
• Security awareness and ownership of end-to-end workflows.

Responsibilities

• Turn problems into clear requirements, staged technical decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Design, build and operate Go services powering Docker’s build and secure-CI infrastructure.
• Develop isolation, identity, policy, provenance and signing for trusted builds.
• Work with container, OCI, BuildKit, cloud and isolated-execution tech for secure workflows.
• Own features from design through rollout, observability and maintenance.
• Drive reliability improvements and contribute to the Secure Build platform.
